Land Conservation Tools
Numerous land conservation tools are available
for townships and boroughs along the Ridge to assist with conservation
of the forested slopes and the adjacent valley lands along the
Kittatinny Corridor.
SAMPLE OVERLAY DISTRICTS TO HELP PROTECT RIDGES
AND SLOPES IN PA
North Coventry Township in Chester County is a leader in the
state in developing overlay districts for their zoning ordinance
that are designed to protect the remaining natural resources of
their community.
