The Samara Project aims to bring neighbors to nature through community conservation. Join the neighborhood projects this summer at Kiwanis Lake and along Parkway Boulevard between Atlantic and Pacific. With lots of ways to get involved, there's something for everyone from planting in the community to planting at home and everything in between. You can help add beauty to the neighborhood while increasing healthy habitat for birds.
Gather & Scatter invites you to volunteer in one of the comunity garden spaces. In exchange, you'll take home free plants for your own home and have an opportunity to register for Audubon's Bird-Friendly Habitat program, complete with yard sign! Check out the Gather & Scatter page for details on each of the plantings and learn how you can get involved.
Artful Science encourages the intersection of creativity and nature in the community. Add your talents to the garden murals being added to the garden at Parkway Boulevard by attending one of our Plant & Paint workshops.
