During the summer of 2023, Scripps News featured Audubon Mid-Atlantic on their social media, website, and on television programming to highlight the successful partnership between Audubon Mid-Atlantic, Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources, and the Maryland Coastal Bays Program. This nesting platform is comprised of 18 separate raft units, and provides habitat for hundreds of common terns during the nesting season.
