Join Audubon Mid-Atlantic and Glen Foerd in learning how to create a bird box for your own home or green space! Bird boxes (also known as nesting boxes) are essential to birds due to the decline of natural habitats. Audubon and Glen Foerd share a mission of maintaining local ecosystems along the Schuylkill and Delaware Rivers, and this is where your stewardship can help!

Each participant will have the opportunity to build and take home a bird box, and will receive instructions for mounting and ongoing maintenance. Kid-friendly activities will also be available.

At the end of the workshop, join Audubon staff for a bird tour around the Discovery Center.
