We are looking for education volunteers to assist with programs both on-site and in the community. Education volunteers assist with setting up, delivering, and breaking down school programs designed to help students discover the wonder of nature, birds, and biodiversity through hands-on learning. Education volunteers also work with Center staff to prepare and deliver offsite, community education programs as well as onsite public programming.
Interested volunteers may be trained in bird handling to present bird ambassadors at schools, public events, and occasionally weddings.
If you are interested in volunteering with the education department, please contact Marcy Engleman at marcy.engleman@audubon.org for more information and to register for the training session.
