Dark-eyed Juncos, Northern Cardinals, and Carolina Chickadees are just a few of the birds you’ll find at urban and suburban bird feeders this time of year. These songbirds, along with many others that overwinter in our area, appreciate the important food sources people provide, especially during the winter months.
Get the inside scoop on a variety of bird feeders that attract a variety of birds, including seed feeders, fruit feeders, and suet feeders. Learn how to upload your list of backyard bird sightings to eBird, then get creative and make your own feeder to take home for you and the birds to enjoy!
Participants are asked to bring a clean, empty gallon size jug, such as from milk or iced tea. All other supplies will be provided.
All ages welcome to this FREE workshop. Guests under 12 need adult supervision.
Please register here so we know to expect you.
