Join us for a free morning bird walk where you’ll learn about the many birds and native plants found at the John James Audubon Center, the important relationship between them, and the valuable role native plants play in maintaining a healthy ecosystem for birdsand people.
Then, after a short break, explore the Historic House, the first home in America of John James Audubon. Following a short introduction to the place where Audubon developed his technique for drawing birds "from life" that would allow him to become one of the world's best-known wildlife artists, take a self-guided tour of the House for an up close look at many original Audubon prints, oil paintings, and memorabilia.
Bring your binoculars and dress for the weather. Snacks and locally roasted coffee provided by Ebru Coffee Co. This event is hosted in partnership with Valley Forge Audubon Society.
