Celebrate Earth Day with us! Bring your friends and family for a fun day packed with exciting activities starting with our annual native plant sale.
A wide selection of native plants from Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens, Behmerwald Nursery, and Gino’s Nursery will be available to purchase.
Not sure where to start? Experts will be on hand to help you select plants that work best in your space. From pollinator plants to rain gardens, you’ll find something for all your bird- and eco-friendly gardening needs.
While you’re here, enjoy artist-led workshops, kids’ activities, partner organizations, canoe rides, and more, including a Philadelphia Mycology Club bioblitz where you can help document the plants, animals, and – of course fungi! - found at Mill Grove.
Special this year! Naturally Fused, artworks by Extended Tyme, will be presented in the Historic House. This compelling exhibition of photography and painting inspired by nature will be on view during Earth Day event hours, then as part of the ticketed house tours Wednesday-Sunday at 1pm through June 29th.
